Flsun T1 Pro - High-Speed Printing with Precision and Control

When it comes to 3D printing, speed and precision often feel like a trade-off. But with the Flsun T1 Pro, that compromise is no longer necessary. As someone who's been printing for years, I’ve had my fair share of frustrations with slow prints or inconsistent quality. That’s why this printer caught my attention.

First Impressions & Setup

Right out of the box, the T1 Pro impresses. Setup took me just under an hour, and I was up and printing the same day. The printer arrives semi-assembled with clear instructions. The sturdy enclosed design gives it a polished, professional look—and it helps keep the print environment stable.

The Klipper firmware (with Mainsail) means you've got powerful control right from your browser. Everything from live print monitoring to tuning speeds is smooth and intuitive.

Performance That Surpasses Expectations

Let’s talk numbers. The T1 Pro is capable of up to 1000mm/s print speeds, with 30,000mm/s² acceleration. I was skeptical at first—but it delivers. I printed models that would usually take 6 hours in just over 2.5, and the detail held up beautifully.

You’ve also got a 260x330mm build area and a hotend that hits 300°C, so printing with tougher filaments like PETG and ASA is totally viable. Auto-leveling, dual-gear extrusion, and linear rails all combine to make this one of the most reliable printers I’ve worked with.

Noise: The Real Talk

Let’s be honest—this printer is loud out of the box. My noise meter clocked it around 71 dB during printing, peaking at 91 dB depending on the print speed and fan activity.

But here’s the fix: noise-dampening mods. I installed a 3D-printed muffler upgrade and it made a noticeable difference, bringing the volume down to something more manageable. Flsun also offers an official Silent Module upgrade that reduces the noise to around 55 dB without compromising cooling.

What I Love

  • Blistering fast speeds without compromising quality
  • Built-in Klipper with a touchscreen and Mainsail access
  • Handles high-temp materials like a champ
  • Upgrade options for quieter printing

What Could Be Better

  • Noise levels out of the box are high
  • Enclosed design can limit visibility depending on lighting

Favourite Projects So Far

So far, I’ve used the T1 Pro for functional prints like brackets, hinges, and articulated models—and it flies through them. I also printed an intricate dragon sculpture in PETG at 300mm/s and the results were fantastic.

If you're considering moving into high-speed printing or want a machine that handles volume without babysitting, the Flsun T1 Pro is absolutely worth a look.
